Women, stories where the scars/CICATRICES emanate their own light. Under the interior light of a room, the footprints on the skin are posed as part of the story of the bodies that show them. Instead of hiding the scars, accepting the wound reveals the transformation process and its history.

Claudia Quintana has photographed the resilience of those bodies, and shows us how beauty and the feminine capacity to resist dwell in each of these imperfections.
